Description
Not sure what size straw/milliners needle you like best? Try this sampler with one needle each of sizes 8, 9, 10, and 11 so you can see what works best before buying a whole pack. The straw or milliners needle is best known for use in hand applique; the needle has a narrow shank that glides easily through several layers of fabric. The eye of the needle is punched within the shank, so it does not hesitate at the eye when pulled through fabric. The needle is also useful for basting, hand piecing (ie English paper piecing)& applique.
