This pattern is a reprint of a design that was wildly popular in Japan!
I myself made a dress with this pattern back then!
The poplin is woven with a slight dotted/dobby texture and features a cheerful band of geishas.
On one selvedge side, the fabric is printed with a procession of geishas (repeated every 60cm).
On the other selvedge side, there are floral prints (also repeated every 60cm).
This fabric is perfect for skirts, dresses, blouses…
