StitchVision Technology – 2.6x Larger than Luminaire 3 XP3

An enlightened way to preview stitches before making them. Using intelligent light projection, StitchVision Technology is like seeing into the future – providing the ability to preview, audition, and edit designs and stitches directly on fabric. This advanced feature helps simplify the creation of multiple rows of stitches, parallel stitching, pin tucks, and decorative stitches. More than 2.5 times larger than the Luminaire XP series machine, the enhanced projection area measures an outstanding 8″ x 5″ (127 x 203 mm). Projecting stitches and designs, it now extends from 90 to 180. Operational in both sewing and embroidery modes, it enables real-time editing within the projection area and provides the added luxury of moving, resizing, and rotating directly on fabric. It includes a square for angles and a circle for echo stitching, and projects an illuminated grid for easy-to-follow precision. Projecting in one of 16 color options, the updated projector displays images on fabrics in clear, easy-to-see resolution.

Expanded Angles for Guideline Markers

In addition to the existing 30, 45, 60 and 90 degrees, Aveneer also has angles of 120, 135, 150 and -90 for even more precise stitches. Preview your angle lines when creating mitered corners, sashing strips, Y seams, diamond cross hatching, or square corners.

Buttonhole Preview

A first in the industry – preview the style, vertical, or horizontal placement and spacing of buttonholes. Easily change the spacing, color of the buttonholes, or the guidelines for alignment of the edge of the fabric. Select another buttonhole style and audition the style right on your project.

Picture Play Embroidery

Elevating personalization to soaring new levels, the Aveneer EV1 uses AI (Artificial Intelligence) technology to transform photos or images into thread art – directly on-screen. With a choice of ten embroidery conversion functions, the Picture Play Embroidery function is a meaningful feature that grants users the ability to effectively “paint with thread.”

Quiltbroidery and Edge to Edge Quilting

Its all about versatility! With five options of two-color quilting sash designs, it’s easy to create a variety of eye-catching, colorful borders and quilting patterns, including easy-to-connect two-color designs. The auto-split designs are further enhanced with five hexagon shapes for additional creativity, plus single or triple stitch options for sash quilting stitches that stand out on every project. You can even eliminate the need for a long-arm with the Edge-to-Edge quilt feature that makes it possible to complete quilt tops on the Aveneer EV1 – even with a 10″ x 10″ magnetic hoop! With 5 new patterns, there are a total of 15 to choose from along with easy-to-follow instructions that will guide you through calculations, rows, and rehoopings.

Large Connect Designs

When you want to go big on your next embroidery project, the five built-in large connect embroidery designs are a great starting point. Select from ornate flowers, birds, and other elaborate designs that range from 721mm x 383mm (28″ x 15″) and when combined, allow you to create a large ensemble.

Ornate Long Stitch Technique

Try adding a unique geometric element to almost any project with any of the 8 new long-stitch patterns inspired by string art (now 10 in total). Bringing visual interest, these patterns are used to create layered long stitches for dramatic and eye-catching embellishment. Want to modify a pattern? Look to the savvy No Sew embroidery feature to help remove specific design elements before starting any project.

Intelligent Stitch Regulator (ISR)

Intuitive infrared technology keeps stitch lengths even by adjusting the timing of the needle to match the speed of the fabric being fed through the machine and keeps the ISR operational in one of three modes: Continuous, Intermittent, and Basting. Its height can be adjusted easily in the settings, while the curved design of the included feet (Regular, Echo, and Open-Toe) keeps the fabric flowing effortlessly. There’s a projected guideline for sensor positioning to show how close to the edge of the fabric you can go with the ISR. This Edge Detection System provides options for free-motion stitching – ideal for quilt projects of any size.

Voice Guidance

When activated, this innovative accessibility feature provides a gentle, audible heads-up about next steps and offers guidance throughout the lifecycle of design projects. Alerts include thread change notifications and project completion. Designed to facilitate easier learning, it eliminates the need for users to rely on the LCD display or to struggle with reading smaller type. Available in a choice of voices in 6 languages including English, French, and Spanish.
